the big 5 tattoo NO NO'S!

back of my neck!
1)  don't go for a tattoo if you're under 18!
it closes a lot of windows for getting a truly amazing piece of art,
you're more than likely to find your self-getting inked in someone's kitchen.

2) don't haggle your paying for the artist's skills, time & art
they set a per hour price for a reason.
make sure to check their previous tattoos to make sure you're not getting ripped off if their artwork is good then 60pound per hour
is a good rate to pay!.

3)don't roll into the studio all smelly have a bath/shower before you your appointment! how would you feel if you had to be up close for hours with someone who pongs of bo?
wash & use some spray and you'll be good!

4) trends are a NO NO!,
most important in my eyes is avoid trendy tattoos! think about it them shitty tribal designs were a trend once too!

5)Leave your entourage at home
The tattoo studio is not known for being the biggest of buildings so try to avoid bringing all your friends as it WILL stress your artist out if they have 3-4
of your friends standing over there shoulder.
they also don't always allow children in due to the short patience span off kids they cant be running around the studio so please bear this in mind!

trendy tattoos....

this is going to be fun..
people you need to realise.. some tattoos may look cool and get you attention now but!..
it wont last long I'm afraid to say just think about how, you think of someone
who has a shitty tribal tattoo, or a Chinese symbol on there foot.
Instantly you think what a plum...yes or no?
well I'm afraid to say but they were cool as fuck once too.
By all means I'm not telling you what you should or should not get but...as someone who made a mistake like this when I was younger I strongly suggest trying to use your brain and getting a bit creative with it.
or just find another idea .. think before you ink!

BIG do's & donts first tattoo

1: DON'T be afraid of the pain.
right I get asked this a lot!& in my opinion, the pain ain't the worst feeling in the world it's manageable! and when you see the work that's on your skin after you think it's worth it!

2: DO research on your local tattoo shops!
pop in have a chat with a few artists, in my opinion, that's the best way to find a shop/artist for you
as your gonna want the best first experience so it's a happy memory especially if it's a
meaningful tattoo, go check the vibe then make a decision.

3: DONT wear the wrong clothes!
think about the placement of your tattoo and wear loose clothing to avoid the discomfort of you trying to slide that leg back into your skinny jeans after a full day of inking.
joggers, shorts &lose t-shirts work well in my opinion

4; DONT be afraid of getting what YOU want!
If there is a certain design  that you truly love don't let people try to change your mind as long as you love
it, peoples opinions shouldn't define what you put on YOUR body.

5: DO take aftercare serious!
you spend all the hours under the needle but the journey doesn't end there, for a good month afterward
you need to take the time out of your day to clean & cream that shit! Ask the artist if they have any aftercare
creams, they're worth the little extra money!
